My Experience

Software Engineer – IT project manager

A dedicated business leader, with 13 years of IT experience currently working as an entrepreneur and consultant in IT business evaluation and project management, technological innovation, automation and process improvement.
I am an excellent team-oriented communicator who effectively manages the relationship with different levels of Stakeholders in the organization: From the Board of Directors to the development team. I seek to achieve an outstanding user experience at all times according to the business objectives. I have deep knowledge in the IT market and manage project portfolios and international multidisciplinary teams to successfully launch IT projects.

I was in charge for the whole project portfolio of the company Sysod Inc. I managed different web and mobile projects. the star product in this period was called Motomobile: A Courier platform carried out in an entrepreneurial way in iOS, Android and Laravel. I managed the development team, outsourcing most of them internationally. Since it was my own entrepreneurial Project altogether with other partners I even contributed to the development of the mobile side in Android to speed up some processes. The project worked in the Peruvian market for 2 years and was sold at the end.

I worked on different projects related to the energy industry. My key project was the automation of the generation processes for the Big Accounts, moving from an Excel manual system to an SAP IS-U system, among other related projects. With this implementation, the billing process time in its commercial area was improved by 40% and 70% of the manual processes were automated. This system also integrated and automated the Accounting and Treasury processes with the modules offered by the SAP IS-U platform. The job required management of different levels of Stakeholders in the Company: From the Board of Directors to the Software Development team in charge for the Task distributed in Argentina, Chile and Perú.

My masters degree comes with an specialization in Software Engineer.
Lecturer experience in Bachelor and Msc degree in the software Engineer field in 2 universities in Perú.

After a careful review of the organization objectives, I do propose the right type of system according to the organization budget and timing.

As part of my IT project management tasks I did also have the opportunity of developing Marketing solutions and strategies.
Some of the typical tasks include spotting trends or technologies, implementing robust SEM/SEO strategies, help cross-function teams by developing and implementing proper digital strategies identifying unmet goals or opportunities.
Executing plans to meet the goals of the strategy that connect brand with the online consumers.

Intercultural Competency

Being a Rumanian and Peruvian myself and having lived in Peru and Germany I do have a broad vision of both cultures: European and Latin American. I do also feel constantly influenced by the USA here in Latin America. This helps me to affirm that I do have a near vision of how the 3 cultures manage different topics. This altogether by the fact that I speak German, Spanish and English fluently, basic French and of course Rumanian help me to understand different cultures from a very close point of view allowing me to enrich my work and integrate this to my projects.
